The Machter SMOTOR-LEY001 is a 12V replacement starter motor for selected Leyland 154, 245 and 253 tractor applications. It is intended as a direct replacement starter for tractors fitted with the BMC 15T 1.5L 4 cylinder diesel engine and the Perkins 3 cylinder 3-152D diesel engine where the listed specifications match. This 3.0kW unit features a 10 tooth pinion, clockwise rotation, 89mm mounting flange diameter and 300mm overall length. Confirm fitment by checking the cross reference number, dimensions and engine code against your existing starter motor before ordering.
