In stockHPR Gas 10 is a premium high performance semi synthetic SAE 10W-50, non-friction modified engine oil. It features a DOUBLE LAYER of engine wear protection with FULL ZINC and Penrites advanced EXTRA TEN technology. It contains a combination of high technology additives, including additives to prevent oil nitration and low shear viscosity modifiers. It protects against corrosion, oil oxidation and sludge under all operating conditions.
HPR Gas 10 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi cam, multi valve (Including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged, direct injection, Petrol/LPG/Duel fuel engines. It is particularly suited for use under high load conditions such as taxi service, towing or where ambient temperatures are high.
HPR Gas 10 is recommended for use in vehicles where SAE 10W-40, SAE 10W-50 & SAE 15W-40 grade engine oils were originally recommended by the manufacturer. It can be used where API CI-4/SL is required as well as for many other manufacturers requirements. It can also be used where ACEA A3/B3 is recommended in model years prior to 2017 and also where API SL and previous API petrol specifications SJ (1998-2000), SH (1994-1997), SG (1989-1993) or earlier specifications are recommended. It is suitable for use in many older Diesel and LPG powered vehicles requiring an engine oil meeting API CH-4 or CF-4 or older specifications. It is not recommended for use in diesel vehicles fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter).
HPR Gas 10 is suitable for use in passenger cars, 4WDs, light duty commercial engines as well as industrial equipment such as fork lifts & stationary engines. It is suitable for use with Diesel & Petrol/E10/LPG (Dual Fuel).
Please Note: For Motorcycles where HPR Gas 10 was previously used, we recommend MC-4ST 10W-50 Semi Synthetic
HPR GAS 10 features Penrites Extra Ten Technology in the oils operating temperature viscosity that provides better wear protection, oil pressure and reduced oil consumption at operating temperature. It provides an added layer of protection for engines that are under high load conditions, competition, operating in high ambient temperatures or showing signs of excessive oil consumption.
NOTE: when changing oil, Penrite recommend using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast acting, solvent free, engine cleaning formulation that removes engine deposits, sludge and contaminants with the oil service drain. It contains added zinc for engine wear protection and its fast acting formulation works in 10 minutes.
