QUICK DRYING SPRAY ENAMEL
A quick drying spraying enamel exhibiting high gloss, excellent interior durability and gloss retention. Suitable for interior and short term exterior use. Moderate exterior durability, corrosion resistance and gloss retention. Used for decorating items such as machinery, manufactured items, metal structures, stairs, railings, dums, general factory equipment. agricultural implements, tools, bins and much more.
Sutable on a variety of metal surfaces such as mild steel, galvanised and zinc coated steel, aluminium, as well as on timber and fibreboard etc., after application of suitable primer or undercoat.

SURFACE PREPARATION Remove rust and old flaking paintwork by wire brush, grinding and/or sanding. Treat Tusted and bare metal areas with Motospray Rust Remover Gel. Remover all the gloss from previously painted areas by sanding with 280-400 grit abrasive paper. Clean surface with HiChem Prepwash to remove all traces of For ferrous metals and previously painted surfaces prime with HiChem Structural Primer 3250 or Motospray Enamel Primer Surfacer if a sandable primer is required. For adhesion to non ferrous metals use Super Elch THINNING Thin Quick Dry Spraying Enamel with 15-25% by volume Enamel Thinner E250. For large surfaces and temperature is greater than 25°C replace E250 with Mineral Turps to slow drying, reduce dry over-spray and thus improve levelling and gloss. The addition of HiChem Enamel Hardener may be made at the rate of 1 part to 16 parts of unthinned Quick Dry Spraying Enamel (250mls per 4 litres). Only mix enough paint and Enamel Hardener for the job at hand. If Enamel Hardener is used less thinner will be required. APPLICATION Apply one light coat and allow to dry for 5 minutes. Then apply 1 to 2 full single coats allowing 5 DRYING TIME At 20°C, dust free - 15-20 minutes, touch dry- 1 hour, hard dry-24 hours. CLEANUP Use Enamel Thinner E250, Mineral Turps or Reducer 285.
