Designed for high-heat and high-pressure environments, such as engine blocks and spark plug holes, the coil insert system provides long-lasting, wear-resistant thread integrity in aluminium or soft metal parts.
The kit features three STI HSS-G precision-ground taps in M10 x 1.0, M12 x 1.25, and M14 x 1.25 sizes, each matched with a 15-piece coil insert pack and a dedicated installation shank. Each 90mm shank is made from carbon steel and includes an anodized aluminium housing with an adjustable depth stop and magnetic insert for smooth and controlled application. Also included are coil shank shielding collars with internal threads and a 2mm hex key for precision adjustments. The inserts themselves are made from durable stainless steel SUS304 and rated at HRC 43–50, offering reliable performance in critical threaded components.
