Featuring a polyfibre construction impregnated with coarse grain silicon carbide and strengthened with synthetic resin, this wheel delivers controlled surface preparation with a significantly gentler action compared to traditional wire wheels.
The advanced poly/silicon/resin composition allows the wheel to remove only the upper surface layer without aggressive grinding or cutting into the base material. Its open structure design remains sharp and flexible while preventing clogging from shavings or debris. This structure also promotes cooler operation, reducing heat build-up during use and improving working comfort.
Ideal for automotive restoration, panel preparation, fabrication work, and general workshop applications, this wheel is suitable for use with bench grinders or electric drills fitted with a 6mm (1/4”) shaft. With a maximum operating speed of 4,500 RPM, it provides reliable and controlled performance for surface preparation tasks.
