The Flamingo Smoke Stop 354mL is a specialised engine oil additive formulated to help reduce exhaust smoke and quiet noisy engines, particularly in vehicles experiencing oil consumption issues. It is designed to improve performance in oil-burning engines by addressing common wear-related problems that lead to visible exhaust smoke and reduced compression.
Exhaust smoke caused by oil burning occurs when engine oil enters the combustion chamber and burns alongside fuel — a condition known as oil blow-by. This typically develops over time as friction and metal-to-metal contact wear down engine components, creating gaps between cylinder walls, piston rings, and valve guide seals. Flamingo Smoke Stop works by increasing oil viscosity, helping improve sealing within worn components, reducing oil migration into the combustion chamber, and minimising crankcase gases.
