The Machter SMOTOR-MM001 is a 12V replacement starter motor for selected Mercury and Mariner outboard marine engines. It is intended as a direct replacement starter for the outboard models, horsepower ratings and year ranges listed in the fitment block below. This 0.7kW unit features a 10 tooth pinion, 78mm housing diameter, 262mm overall length and a 48mm pinion at rest. Please check the cross reference numbers, dimensions, horsepower and outboard model against your existing starter before ordering.
