Jump starters and power packs

Portable jump starters and power packs are for getting an engine going when the battery is flat and there is no power point nearby. Titles use model codes and amp ratings, and some give an engine size or fuel type, so compare these against your vehicle. A few listings are the power pack only or include extras such as a tyre pump, so read each title for what is supplied.

Chargers, maintainers and testers

Mains wall chargers, in-car charge leads, smaller maintainer-style chargers and a battery tester and charger cover keeping a battery topped up rather than starting an engine. Separate battery testers let you check a battery's condition, and one version is listed with a printer. Many chargers are made for particular SJS or SSC units and some titles list exclusions, so match the code to the unit you own.

Leads, adaptors and charging accessories

Jumper lead sets, plug adaptors, a multi-volt cable, a 12V lighter socket and a range of USB cables, car chargers and wall chargers extend what a unit can connect to or charge. These accessories are often specific to a model or plug type, so check the stated unit, plug size and voltage before ordering.

Tyre inflators and workshop extras

The range also includes a tyre pump accessory for a compatible Smart Start Charger and two digital air pumps, one with a work light and one rechargeable, with PSI and voltage shown in the titles.
