Elastic or mesh
Elastic nets stretch over irregular loads, while fixed mesh nets give a firmer cover for items that can shift. Consider the shape and weight of what you usually carry.
Sizing
Nets are sold in a range of sizes, and some describe the trailer size they suit. Measure your tray or trailer and compare, allowing for how much the net stretches or overlaps.
Hooks and anchor points
Hooks are sold separately from some nets. Check that your trailer or ute has suitable anchor points, and that the hook style suits them.
